In partnership with Bintan Lagoon Resort, we are pleased to inform you that the SSG-BLR International Amateur Championship will be held at Jack Nicklaus course at Bintan Lagoon Resort from 21 May 2017 to 24 May 2017.
This is a non-profit and counting event for the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and is open to all amateurs with a USGA Handicap Index issued by a licensed golf club that is affiliated to its national golf association or federation.
The format of play is Stroke Play and comprises of 3 Divisions:
- Men’s Division: Handicap Index of 12.0 and below
- Ladies’ Division: Handicap Index of 16.0 and below
- Seniors’ (Men) Division: Handicap Index of 18.0 and below
This event is also supported by the Singapore Professional Golfers’ Association (SPGA) whereby the respective winners in the following Divisions will gain a free entry to partake in the President’s Cup 2017 organised by the SPGA:
- Men’s Division: Champion and 1st Runner-up
- Ladies’ Division: Champion
- Seniors’ (Men) Division: Champion
Closing date for all entries is 12 May 2017 before 1200 hours.
